Racing body 3D scanning solution
1. case needs
Scan the 3D data of the entire car to optimize the performance of the car. Quickly capture car body and wheel arch data to optimize racing wind resistance.
2. problems
The traditional measurement method has insufficient data collection density (insufficient data volume) and cannot measure the curved surface and curvature of the vehicle body, and cannot be detected normally, and can not be reversed in the later stage.
3. solution
Use the 3D Photogrammetry System (HL-3DP) + 3D Scanner (HL-3DW) to obtain the racing car body and wheel arch data. After obtaining the appearance data of the car, the car model was built for wind tunnel experiment and the drag coefficient was tested.
